About the Job

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare facility, offering a chance to work with a talented team and gain valuable experience in MRI imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Inject contrast media as required, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Set technical parameters, monitor image data, and recognize abnormal images to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
