Syngenta Seeds is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Tropical Crop Group. As Head of Tropical Crops, you will be responsible for shaping the long-term crop strategy, driving global initiatives, and defining IP strategy metrics.

• Collect and analyze regional and global trends to inform crop strategy.
• Lead global initiatives for tropical crops, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Develop and implement IP strategy metrics to drive business growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and support product-centric teams.
• Secure a clear strategic segmentation of the portfolio between brands.
• Prioritize traits and breeding program resources allocation across regions and brands.
• Identify portfolio gaps and opportunities to address alliances and licensing.
• Drive the development of Global Target Product Profiles for tropical mega-segments.
• Set global portfolio thresholds to drive profitability and NPI success.
