Subway Sandwich Artist

The Subway Sandwich Artist provides exceptional customer service and supports the Subway Manager and Shift Leaders in maintaining a high-quality work environment.

• Provide operational support to Subway Manager and Shift Leaders
• Ensure all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with all staff members
• React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned
• Support the mission statement of Trexcon
• Give fast, friendly customer service
• Effectively communicate with all customers
• Adhere to all product formulas
• Follow proper procedures for retarding, proofing, and baking of all breads
• Prepare all back-up products utilizing the correct equipment
• Operate all equipment according to manufacturers and Subway regulations
• Accurately perform daily inventory counts
• Understand and adhere to all Subway and county Health and Safety policies
• Maintain products within the proper food temperature zones
• Properly store all foods according to product type
• Mark times and dates of opened and prepared food products
• Daily evaluation of products to remove outdated items
• Accurately perform and record temperatures of products on the designated temperature food logs
• Provide for corrective actions for all products within the temperature danger zone
• Receive delivery from approved distributor and accurately account for every item on invoice
• Adhere to all uniform policies
• Maintain and account for all product inventory
• Assemble products for customers when ordered
• Accurately perform money transactions on the register
• Properly use time clock to record all duty time
• Finalize shift paperwork
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean Restrooms
• Attend store meetings
• Empty trash containers inside and outside of the store
• Clean sidewalks and parking lot areas
• Complete all food adjustments
• Other duties as assigned by the Subway Manager or Shift Leader

The Subway Sandwich Artist requires prolonged standing, physical exertion to manually move, lift over 10 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials, occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders and step stools, and some travel.
