Department Overview:

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is actively seeking a physician specializing in Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Medicine for an outpatient role that offers significant opportunities for professional development. The preferred candidate will possess expertise in managing chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders, with proficiency in performing fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided interventions. A background in electrodiagnostic medicine is advantageous.

Outpatient services are delivered at our advanced care facilities, ensuring a collaborative environment for patient treatment. Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department has received recognition as the top-ranked in Columbus and holds a national ranking among the best in the country. Furthermore, our residency program is highly regarded within the medical community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Utilize advanced techniques in pain management, including imaging-guided interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program.
  • Completion of an accredited Pain Fellowship Program.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in PM&R and Pain Medicine.
  • Preferred: Board Eligible and/or Certified in EMG.
  • Must qualify for an Ohio Medical License.
