About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our donors by conducting thorough medical screenings and collecting plasma donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical screenings of donors to ensure their eligibility to donate plasma
- Collect plasma donations from donors while maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Monitor donors during the donation process and manage any adverse reactions
- Perform venipuncture and other medical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate records of donor information and medical history
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
