About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Fresh Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing all functions and activities of the Meat/Seafood Department, including inventory management and ordering.
  • Help to manage labor costs and reduce losses by optimizing workflow and streamlining processes.
  • Assist in the training and development of all Meat Cutters and Meat/Seafood Clerks, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.
  • Handle and cut a variety of the department's specialty meats and seafood, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
