Position Overview


The Senior Accountant within the ERP Division will play a key role in the development of the Central Service Cost Allocation plan and Provision plan reports.

Key Responsibilities
1. Formulating various rates and charges.
2. Developing and updating costing master data.
3. Addressing diverse department costing inquiries.
4. Establishing and maintaining business processes and procedures for the Costing (CO) module within SAP.
5. Executing month-end and year-end CO closing processes within SAP.
6. Preparing monthly CO postings related to interdepartmental and intradepartmental transfers.
7. Compiling the annual activity rates survival kit.
8. Engaging in various ERP projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
9. Participating in cross-training in other CO areas, which may include work orders, projects, and CATS.

Compensation

Salary Range:
$61, $110,510.40 annually.

Hiring Range:
$61, $90,916.80 annually.

Salary Explanation
The salary range represents the complete compensation range for this position classification.
The hiring range is an estimate of where an offer may be made.

The actual salary offer will take into account a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of progressively responsible experience as a professional accountant, including some experience in training and supervising paraprofessional and professional accounting staff.
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, or a related field; a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be considered.
All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.

Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
Experience in governmental accounting and/or finance.
Familiarity with various aspects of cost accounting (general ledger and subsidiary ledgers).
Experience in preparing complex financial reports and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Experience working with cross-functional teams supporting large departmental and enterprise-wide programs/projects.
Experience in supervising or directing the work of others.
Experience in developing departmental policies and procedures.
Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as a functional lead.
