Role Overview

Catalent, a global drug development and delivery leader, seeks an experienced Softgel Manufacturing Specialist to join its team in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of the manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining up to two Encapsulation Machines, ensuring a quality product is produced.

About the Job

  • The Softgel Manufacturing Specialist will operate and maintain equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Responsibilities include monitoring material and gel usage at the machine, accurately completing documentation, and maintaining a clean work area.
  • You will also troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize rejected product and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; previous manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated industry is preferred.
  • You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for a work period of up to 12 hours and push/pull approximately 1,100 pounds.
  • Able to differentiate color and obtain 20/30 acuity in both far and near vision with or without corrective lenses.
