Environmental Technician

Fellowship Community is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and environmental quality of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our buildings and campus meet and exceed federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental quality in all Fellowship Community buildings and campus.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and climbing ladders.
• Operate janitorial and maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the facilities team to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of floor and carpet care equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull in excess of one hundred (100) pounds.
• Ability to sweep, dry and wet mop, and climb a ladder.
• Understanding of Geriatrics and Dementia.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
