Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Execution of Imaging Procedures: Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort them to imaging rooms, and assist with positioning body parts to be imaged.
- Operation of Radiologic Equipment: Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, following established radiologic requirements and regulations.
- Quality Control and Safety Measures: Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS, use radiation safety measures, and protect devices to ensure patient and team member safety.
- Equipment Maintenance and Administrative Duties: Maintain radiologic equipment, report malfunctions to supervisors, and perform related administrative tasks, including filing, billing, scheduling, phone courtesy, and insurance verifications.
- Associate's degree from an accredited Radiology program with ARRT certification.
- 1-3 years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably with CT knowledge.
- CPR certification and ability to acquire LRT certification within 90 days if not already certified.
