This role will primarily operate from various locations and will involve managing a range of banking transactions. Additionally, the position requires travel to other banking centers as needed for coverage. Floaters will receive supplementary compensation for their flexibility. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, although it is not a requirement.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Personal Banker II Floater is tasked with consistently presenting a positive first impression to all customers and visitors as the main point of contact. This role is crucial in developing strong customer relationships by identifying their needs and providing accurate assistance with transactions, account services, and product knowledge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support across branches as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction.
- Welcome customers and foster a customer-centric atmosphere.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers to identify suitable financial products and services.
- Assist customers with selecting financial services, including online banking, BillPay, e-statements, and mobile deposit options.
- Efficiently process customer transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accuracy by balancing and reconciling cash drawers.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues both in-branch and over the phone.
- Ensure adherence to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Remain vigilant regarding potential suspicious activities and report any concerns to the appropriate department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comprehensive understanding of banking products and services.
- Solid knowledge of retail banking policies and practices.
- Self-driven with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor in a dynamic environment.
