Responsibilities:
* Ensure that communications from the sales team are executed at a high level.
* Maintain proper food safety programs and pay attention to details while providing exceptional service.
* Handle event bookings from initial contact to completion of event with strong attention to detail and organization.
* Produce and distribute contracts, complete catering paperwork, menus, and correspondence.
* Handle all post-event written correspondence.
* Support the sales efforts of the department with emphasis on catering segment.
* Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to think clearly and remain calm in pressure situations.
Requirements:
* 0 to 6 months of experience in a single unit catering, convention center, or hotel banquet business.
* Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
* Previous hotel and catering experience preferred.
* Prior sales experience strongly preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
* Valid Driver\u2019s License
Physical Demands:
* Up to 50 pounds
Travel Requirements:
* Regional - Daily
