Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by monitoring and interpreting electrocardiographic patterns of patients. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, interpreting, and reporting heart rhythms and rates, and notifying appropriate personnel of significant changes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret electrocardiographic patterns of patients
  • Identify and report heart rhythms and rates
  • Notify appropriate personnel of significant changes
  • Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
  • Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation
  • Complete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score
  • At least 6 months related work experience
