Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare customer pipe and wire in an efficient and accurate manner based on department procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and unload commodities from delivery trucks, and accurately maintain commodities inventory, including reporting of inventory discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Utilize forklift equipment to properly locate inventory throughout the warehouse, and prepare product for delivery to customers and/or other branch locations by palletizing, banding, labeling, and staging of material.
  • Safety and Quality: Adhere to all company safety policies and initiatives, and maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Previous distribution center experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 100 lbs on a consistent basis, and stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Skills: Demonstrated computer skills, and knowledge of Eclipse and handheld RF scanner preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
