Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo/Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an Echo Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other cardiovascular imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cardiac ultrasound machines to capture accurate images for medical interpretation.
  • Prepare patients for echocardiograms and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including educating patients and families, demonstrating competence in echocardiographic studies, and consistently producing high-quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
  • Acquire and report findings on stress echo and dobutamine images, as well as transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, and identifying and reporting any issues.
  • Accurately record patient information and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Understand and utilize the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech.
  • BLS certification and ARDMS or CCI National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
