We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Hazardous Materials Processing Professional at Veolia North America. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing of hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, with a BS degree in Chemistry or a related discipline. Prior work experience in the hazardous waste industry is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The salary for this position is approximately $75,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
In this role, you will:
- Oversight of hazardous waste processing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaboration with operational personnel to determine the most preferred method of handling various waste streams.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports to determine and ensure that existing process burn plans are effective and efficient.
- Development and maintenance of process procedures, working closely with our operations team.
