We're seeking skilled Telemetry Nurses for a travel nurse opportunity in Whiteville, NC. This position requires recent acute care experience and the ability to interpret electronic displays.

Job Overview

As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, you'll provide critical care by connecting patients to monitoring equipment that measures vital signs. You'll read and interpret data to determine patient care needs and take corrective action when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care, including wound care and administration of medications.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting electronic displays to identify any irregularities.
  • Notify medical team members of any adverse symptomatology and initiate corrective action as needed.

You should be prepared to stand and walk for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. Lifting 20 pounds is also required, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds for moving or lifting patients.

Requirements
  • A valid ACLS certification and 2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
