Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates within established timelines. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Review and interpret plans, proposals, and other documentation to create competitive bids.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to support job walks, customer meetings, and RFP submissions to drive revenue generation.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals that align with project requirements and company standards.
  • Work closely with project teams and project managers to ensure bid accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze project costs to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Adobe, and Bluebeam software is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand oneline diagrams is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an understanding of profitability and financial measurements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
