Job Title: Concrete Mixer Driver

At Silvi Concrete Products, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team in Swedesboro, NJ. As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for operating a 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
  • Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
  • Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving the use of ladders, main chutes and extension chutes, as well as driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
  • Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
  • Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid commercial drivers license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are anywhere between 12am- 9am. Requires calling in to the plant at 4/5pm daily.
