Job Summary

As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will play a critical role in providing neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of neurobehavioral health principles and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly individuals with neurocognitive disorders and other neurologic and/or psychiatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialty clinicians, to provide comprehensive care to residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology.
  • Current license (or eligible to be licensed) as a Psychologist in the state in which you will be practicing.
  • HSPP preferred in applicable states.
