Job Title: Clinical Counselor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Counselor to join our team at Just 4 Kids Health. As a Clinical Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to children and adolescents, working collaboratively with our pediatricians, case managers, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of children and adolescents with mental, social, or emotional disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients and their families to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to family members, empowering them to effectively respond to their child's needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology and graduate degree in clinical or child psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child psychology, with post-doctoral experience preferred.
  • Several years of practical experience working with children in a clinical setting.
Work Environment:

This role will be based in an office or clinic setting, with occasional work performed in offsite or other clinical locations. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
