Overview

Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a skilled Veterinarian Ultrasound Specialist to join our mobile ultrasound team in the Nashville area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasound scans to complete abdominal exams, thoracic exams, and other diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound scans to complete abdominal exams, thoracic exams, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Use echocardiography to determine the source and extent of cardiac pathology
  • Perform ultrasound-guided fluid cavity centesis and execute ultrasound-guided biopsy
  • Write accurate and detailed medical reports
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • At least five years of veterinary clinical experience
  • Ultrasound experience highly preferred
Training and Support

We offer comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. Our team of experienced veterinarians will provide training and guidance, and you will have access to additional training and support from SVP internists, radiologists, and cardiologists.
