Facilities and Equipment:
The Texas Oncology practice is equipped to provide a complete array of external beam radiation therapy services.

Available Equipment:
Our Odessa location utilizes advanced technology including: Varian 21iX, GE RT Lightspeed CT scanner, Elekta microSelectron HDR, Oncentra TPS for HDR treatment planning, Eclipse TPS, MOSAIQ ROIS, RadCalc, Mapcheck3, SNC Routine, IC Profiler, and a 3DS scanning system.

Key Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of: Varian linear accelerators, Elekta/Nucletron microselectron HDR afterloader, Oncentra TPS, Eclipse TPS, ARIA, and MOSAIQ Record and Verify system, HDR, SBRT, and SRS procedures, as well as Radiation Safety Officer responsibilities for both x-ray registration and RAM licenses.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Medical Physics from an accredited institution
- Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency program
- ABR board certification (or equivalent)
- Full licensure in Texas
- Experience in HDR planning and treatment
- Eligibility for RAM license addition
- Familiarity with SRS, SBRT, and HDR
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support a sister clinic as needed.
