Director of Nursing

Aspire Nursing and Rehab of Sutherland is seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing to lead our clinical services team. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they are providing high-quality care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Recruit, hire, and retain a sufficient number of qualified staff to meet the needs of the facility.
• Develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and resident population in conjunction with budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Evaluate current and potential residents to ensure the facility can provide the appropriate level of care.
• Maintain regular and ongoing communication with the facility Medical Director to ensure programs and care services meet the needs of patients/residents.

• Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
• 3 or more years DON experience preferred.
• Must meet all local health regulations, including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
