Big Bend Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics team. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ALSP (Advanced Life Support in Pediatrics) certification
- ALSS (Advanced Life Support in Surgery) certification
- Schedule flexibility, including night shifts and weekends
