Job Summary

This is a multi-functional position that incorporates the performance of mechanic duties on various pieces of machinery and operating equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on construction equipment, preferably asphalt paving equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on construction equipment, preferably asphalt paving equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Basic computer skills for Excel-based systems and/or OEM diagnostic systems
