The Club at Seabrook Island, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our Club banquets and special events. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of banquet servers, bartenders, and other support staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Event Execution
    • Implement event plans and ensure that all logistical aspects are in place, including setup, staffing, and equipment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture to ensure that events are well-stocked and equipped.
  • Event Safety and Security
    • Ensure that all applicable safety regulations are communicated and adhered to, and that events are conducted in a safe and secure manner.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum of two years of experience as a Banquet Captain or Supervisor in a similar environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Working Conditions

Compensation
