Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecommerce and the ability to write compelling content for various digital platforms. The role will involve crafting engaging ad copy, writing scripts for video content, developing website copy that converts, and collaborating with the SEO team to produce blog articles that drive organic traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop persuasive and impactful copy for online advertising campaigns.
  • Write scripts for video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, webinars, and YouTube content.
  • Create, edit, and optimize website content to ensure clarity, consistency, and effectiveness in driving conversions.
  • Work closely with the SEO team to create blog articles and other content that aligns with SEO best practices and drives organic traffic to our site.
  • Partner with the performance marketing team, social media team, and content team to align copy with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and materials.
  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of professional content writing experience, preferably in the ecommerce or SAAS industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and PPC advertising.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for various digital platforms.
  • Proficient in adapting writing style to different audiences and formats.
  • Experience working with SEO tools and an understanding of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Highly creative and strategic thinker.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

This is a remote role with preference for those located in Miami or the eastern time zone.
