Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical assessments and manage treatment plans for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric, including women's health.
  • Order and analyze necessary diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
  • Provide independent and team-based management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress and coordinate referrals to specialists or physicians as required.
  • Work closely with supervising physicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Exhibit professionalism and a compassionate approach while pursuing ongoing personal and professional development.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Strong abilities in medical decision-making and effective communication.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to new challenges.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) or completion of Physician Assistant studies.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine setting.
  • Experience in primary care outpatient services is essential.
  • Proficiency in treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups is highly desirable.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Certification from ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (or equivalent).
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
