Job Title: Mental Health Associate Therapist

Join our team at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Programs, a national leader in behavioral healthcare, as a Mental Health Associate Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide treatment services according to our Discovery Clinical Model, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation, meeting quality standards outlined in policies.
  • Complete and respond to documentation requirements and timelines for compliance with the monthly medical record review.
  • Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and families/loved ones.
  • Facilitate admission assessments and the admission process for new patients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and communicate weekly treatment goals with all team members.
  • Maintain a caseload of 5-6 patients in RTC and 10-15 in OP level of care.
  • Complete assigned therapy sessions, including family/support system sessions aligned with patients' level of care.
  • Facilitate process-oriented and psychoeducation groups daily in RTC and 2-4 times daily in OP.
  • Provide on-call support to the facility at least 1x per month and return all program phone calls within 20 minutes while on call.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, required.
  • Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions, required.
  • Operates under supervision and is not fully licensed.
  • Obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.
