Your Role

The Lead Supply Chain Strategist will report to the Senior Supply Chain Manager within our Household division.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance the complete supply chain process, ensuring product availability to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maintaining superior service levels.

This role encompasses:

  • Demand forecasting
  • Inventory oversight
  • Production scheduling
  • Procurement
  • Logistics coordination

Collaboration with various departments, including sales, marketing, production, and logistics, as well as external suppliers and customers, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMO, Procurement, Vendors, 3PL, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance) to achieve performance targets.
  • Work with KIK plants and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production requirements and customer demand.
  • Ensure customer demand is met while minimizing production schedule disruptions due to raw material shortages.
  • Manage projects related to production line changes, including discontinuations, product modifications, or new product launches.
  • Conduct safety stock analyses to determine appropriate inventory levels.

Additionally, you will:

  • Establish effective communication channels with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, and Vendors to enhance customer service while managing inventory.
  • Oversee the allocation process during supply/service disruptions.
  • Maintain planning and inventory control master data parameters.
  • Perform forecasting and data analysis on existing and incoming inventory, predicting stock-out dates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and coordinate the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • APICS/CPIM certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, with adaptability to change.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office) and knowledge of ERP Systems (JD Edwards experience is a plus).
