Clinical Wound Care Specialist
Location: South Beloit, IL
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, manage, and treat various dermatological conditions, including pressure ulcers, diabetic wounds, venous and arterial ulcers, as well as complex or traumatic injuries.
- Administer wound care to designated patients following physician directives and established protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive and precise evaluations of wounds upon initial notification.
- Perform regular follow-up evaluations on a weekly basis or as required; ensure all findings are accurately recorded in the patient's medical documentation.
- At least 1-2 years of recent, pertinent experience in wound care.
- Current and valid RN license in Illinois is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a Wound Care Nurse role.
- Background in long-term care settings is preferred.
- Strong clinical expertise and knowledge in wound management.
