Job Summary:

The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall construction schedule and completion dates of the project
  • Manage the overall project budget and provide value engineering opportunities
  • Direct and supervise all on-site subcontractors and laborers
  • Verify all construction and installation processes for quality
  • Ensure all city, county, and state construction codes and regulations are met
  • Ensure all safety requirements are met and provide weekly safety meetings
  • Evaluate and develop solutions to problems and questions from subcontractors and other workers on-site
  • Schedule and coordinate all deliveries
  • Ensure all Earth Craft requirements are met and documentation is provided

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge in interpreting building blueprints, including estimating
  • Advanced construction skills and knowledge in building and site construction work
  • Strong computer skills and a knowledge of construction software
  • Experience working with 3rd party developers and state and local officials
  • Onsite construction experience, with supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally to appropriate customers
  • OSHA training and preferred
  • EarthCraft certified preferred
  • Knowledge of ADA or certification preferred

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required with 8 years of construction experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or relevant field preferred.

Work Environment: Duties performed both inside and outside even in extreme temperatures of below 32 degrees and above 100 degrees. Exposure to building, construction or painting chemicals.

Equipment to be used: Telephone, Computer, Fax/scanner/copier, Smart phone, Camera, Power tools, hand tools, painting & building supplies
