Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation division in a long-term acute care setting. As a COTA, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive therapy services to patients. Your expertise will be essential in providing patient-centered therapeutic interventions and evaluations, adhering to established practice standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality therapy services to patients in a long-term acute care setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress within the electronic medical record system (Wellsky).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the dress code and facility policies.


Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a COTA in the state.
  • 1-2 years of experience in acute care, preferably with ventilators.
  • Relevant certifications for a COTA position.
