">About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Community Medical Centers.
">Responsibilities:
- Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications and supplies for each case, adhering to doctors' preference cards.
- Maintain a sterile field and surgical aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Assist in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning and draping.
- Perform first scrub functions and procedures in most surgical procedures performed at the facility.
- Pass instruments, sutures, medications and/or supplies as needed to support the surgeon and surgical team.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six months of Surgical Technologist experience or graduation from a recognized Surgical Technology Program is necessary.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
