We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Community Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control access to campus facilities, including arrival and dismissal procedures, cafeterias, hallways, bathrooms, and parking lots.
  • Respond promptly to accidents, potential safety hazards, and incidents, and report them to administration and facilities management.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs, to maintain the building and its surroundings.
  • Monitor and maintain the security desk, including camera monitors, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and cared for.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to requests from administration, faculty, and staff in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in security or a related field desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally, and to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
