Veterinary Kennel Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team at Alliance Animal Health. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Care for and maintain the cleanliness of our hospital and boarding facilities, including cleaning, laundry, and disinfection.
- Feed, medicate, and provide exercise for our patients, including walking dogs and administering medications.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint, exams, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, special diets, and behavioral observations.
- Perform moderately heavy physical labor, including lifting and moving large animals and equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting methods, as well as proper animal restraint techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform moderately heavy labor, including lifting and moving large animals and equipment.
- Ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
