About the Opportunity
We are working with Curative to find a qualified Hospitalist MD for a locum tenens opportunity in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Assignment Details
- This is an ongoing assignment with 7-10 days of coverage per month.
- The scheduled hours are 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily.
- The call requirements include night call from 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 24-hour call on weekends.
Medical Setting
- This is an inpatient facility.
- The patient ages are 0-18 years.
- The patient volume is 12-15 patients per shift.
- The department beds are to be determined.
- The trauma level is 2.
- The pediatric level is 2.
Responsibilities
- The procedures required include catheterized urine analysis, lumbar punctures, conscious sedation, X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation, and pulmonary artery catheterization.
- The support staff includes 20 registered nurses and 2 office staff members.
- The charting system is Cerner.
- The patient encounters per shift are 12-15.
Qualifications
- The primary specialty is pediatric hospitalist.
- The board certification or eligibility is in pediatrics.
- The certifications required are BLS and PALS.
- The credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days, with temporary privileges available.
- The fellowship is 3 years.

- The support includes residents assisting with call coverage.
