Comprehensive pharmacy services are required for long-term care facilities, senior living communities, and public health organizations in the northeastern U.S. Woodmark Pharmacy of Massachusetts seeks a per diem clinical pharmacist consultant.


The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a LTC consultant, with a BS RPh or PharmD degree, MA licensing, and excellent communication skills. The salary range for this position is approximately $80-$110 per hour, based on industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient medication regimens to ensure appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety.
  • Review medication regimens for 400-500 beds/month, conduct nursing station audits, and participate in facility QAPI meetings.
  • Provide DPH survey support and facilitate clinical initiatives such as antimicrobial stewardship and opioid stewardship.

Requirements
  • BS RPh or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a LTC consultant.
  • MA state licensure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
