Position Details:

The position is structured as a contract role, initially spanning 6-8 months, with potential for extension. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, and operates on a hybrid model.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is set at $100.00 per hour on a W2 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in non-clinical mathematics and statistics for the Consumer division.
  • Identify and apply proven industry methodologies for effective use of statistical techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement statistical, mathematical, and graphical methods to support innovation, development, validation, and operational processes in drug product manufacturing and packaging.
  • Promote continuous advancement in mathematics, statistics, and computational sciences, staying abreast of industry trends through active participation in professional organizations.
  • Design and execute training programs to enhance the statistical capabilities of non-statistical personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards across all operations.
  • Serve as the primary global contact for the Consumer supply chain regarding the application of statistical methods to resolve technical challenges.
  • Contribute to project teams by selecting appropriate study designs and data collection strategies that align with defined objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree or PhD in Statistics or related quantitative sciences is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years focused on statistics or related quantitative disciplines.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, JMP, Minitab, or R, with a strong preference for Minitab.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and knowledge of cGMPs is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex statistical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
