Job Overview

As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the overall coordination of well operation activities, ensuring maximum production while controlling costs and minimizing downtime in a safe and responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide production operations support to ensure seamless wellbore performance
  • Monitor and record data from gauges and meters to optimize production
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain open communication and ensure effective problem-solving
  • Coordinate oil sales and water hauling to ensure efficient logistics
  • Maintain accurate records of production changes and reasons for adjustments
  • Operate and maintain surface equipment associated with oil and gas production
  • Identify and implement solutions to optimize production and minimize downtime
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in production operations
  • Community college or vocational-technical school education in a related field
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and be available for call-outs
  • Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and climb ladders/stairways
