Delta-T Group is seeking highly qualified professionals for crisis stabilization specialist positions in the Richmond area.
This role requires providing crisis stabilization services to adults at imminent risk of hospitalization and out-of-home placement. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing basic living skills such as personal hygiene maintenance, food preparation, and adequate nutrition management
- Developing a therapeutic relationship with clients to encourage response in treatment and foster goal development directly related to the client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP)
- Linking clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers, including outpatient counseling, medication management, and group counseling
- Implementing safety plans based on client need to ensure safety in their current environment while assessing and alleviating high-risk behaviors
The ideal candidate will have a LPC or LCSW license and be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) specializing in adult/children populations. They will also possess training in the characteristics of mental illness and appropriate interventions, strategies, and support methods for persons with mental illness and functional limitations.
