Job Summary
VetJobs is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising plant employees, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the smooth execution of production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage plant employees to ensure efficient production processes
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve production goals and objectives
- Develop and implement operating procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure knowledge of equipment and processes to maintain high-quality production
- Meet production goals and targets while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Additional Requirements
- Ability to read pressure gauges and understand specifications related to machine setup and product
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required, including standing, walking, and repetitive movement for up to 12 hours daily
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 12 hours daily
- Good vision required for safe operation of forklift and ability to read labels on pipe
- Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
