Job Title: Ar Specialist - VA Billing

This is a non-remote position that requires an onsite candidate.

Job Summary:

Bills insurance claims for patients with VA coverage, pursuing collection of all claims until payment is made by insurance companies. Performs other work associated with the billing process, including timely billing functions for all insurances, electronic claims filing, secondary filing, and corrected claims. Responsible for denial tracking and reporting, accurate posting of patient and insurance payments, and payments to any GL accounts. Maintains accurate account receivable records.

Requirements:
  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
