Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Boar's Head Brand. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair mechanical devices, including boilers, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair or replace damaged parts.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance technicians and other team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including GMPs and SOPs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, welding techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be required to work in a cold, damp environment and be able to lift and move 50-75 pounds with assistance when required.
