Key Responsibilities:

As a Precision CNC Operator, you will be tasked with the setup and operation of CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills, and other CNC machinery, alongside conducting partial inspections and validations of manufactured parts. We require quality artisans who can think creatively and devise solutions to intricate challenges on a daily basis.

  • Set up and operate CNC Mills, 5-Axis Mills, and various CNC equipment.
  • Interpret operator/process documentation to perform setups and operations as specified.
  • Analyze blueprints and part specifications to determine the correct approach for manufacturing precision components.
  • Produce complex parts to stringent tolerances across a variety of materials while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Utilize various inspection and measurement instruments to ensure the accuracy of your work.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Communicate proactively with management and colleagues through both verbal and written means.
  • Maintain machinery and tools as necessary.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the department and the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of blueprint interpretation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, and optical comparators.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for machining.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Capability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic proficiency in common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Some post-secondary education in the field or 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday

Night Shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Monday to Thursday

Enjoy 3-day weekends and opportunities for overtime.

Compensation:

The starting wage for this role is $15.00/hour, with negotiable pay based on the candidate's education and experience. The base salary is just one component of your overall rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing Corporation.
