Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Team Lead serves as a crucial link between various departments, providing support in problem-solving and issue resolution. This role involves guiding team members by addressing inquiries, demonstrating processes, and offering constructive feedback to both associates and supervisors.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including prioritizing tasks from the Dispatch Report, approving quality checks, and ensuring accurate reporting of job statuses.
  • Facilitate smooth shift transitions to maintain workflow and order processing.
  • Keep team members focused on production goals and operational efficiency.
  • Share expertise with production staff, ensuring they are well-trained and informed.
  • Encourage teamwork and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor productivity levels and redistribute tasks as necessary to meet customer demands.
  • Report performance metrics and process improvements to management.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate clear performance expectations and provide feedback on individual and team achievements.
  • Act as a liaison with internal departments to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and cultivate a positive team culture.
  • Proven decision-making skills with a focus on accountability and urgency.
