Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to join our team at Agile Occupational Medicine. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, leading by example, and enhancing processes and procedures to minimize visit times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
- Ensure day-to-day execution as the Primary Treating Physician (PTP) for all injuries, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and expedite case closure
- Manage clinicians and support staff, complying with all supervisory physician requirements for PA/NPs
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient safety
- Work with medical leadership to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement and efficiency
- Masters the use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, appropriate and optimal coding levels, charge capture, and follow-through on all patient care orders
- Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations
- Communicate with employers on all new injuries and other significant clinical changes
- Participate in team meetings with Center Manager and Center Therapist to improve quality, patient safety, case management, and ensure the ongoing development and growth of the center's business
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers while responding to requests within 24 hours
- Work with medical and clinical leadership to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies that will optimize patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies
- Develop and support colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff within the center
- Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition
- Promote center initiatives and workflows that are consistent with those in other centers
- Possess financial awareness and provide input to center budget and key business metrics
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O. with an unrestricted medical license in the state where employed
- Board certified or eligible by ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or medical board in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- BLS and AED Certified; ACLS Certified, preferred
- NRCME Certified (DOT Medical Examiner)
- DEA required
Job-Related Experience:
- Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting
Job-Related Skills/Competencies:
- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
- Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations, OSHA, DOT

Salary:
Salary Range $275,000.00 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
