Burn ICU Registered Nurse PRN

Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare's HealthONE family of hospitals, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Burn ICU team on a PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse in our Burn ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with burn injuries, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC.
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing with a minimum of 276 clinical hours.
- Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills and provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice at SMC.
