About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICU RN to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will oversee patient care, conduct detailed clinical assessments, and develop and implement comprehensive care plans that prioritize patient well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying health issues and creating personalized care plans.
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, delegating tasks effectively and following up promptly.
  • Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on health management, empowering them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and community members to create effective care plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Specialized field of study: nursing.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
  • 1 year of ICU RN experience required.
